Operational Modes (Normal and High Density)

Pliant Technologies latest CB2 firmware and software update, Version 1.1, adds a new major feature, High Density Operational Mode. High Density Mode is a selectable mode of operation for existing hardware that will allow user densities to increase by more than double. When selected, this new mode of operation will allow for up to 16 Radio Packs (RPs) to log into a single BaseStation. In addition, when combining/syncronizing two BaseStations, users will have the flexibility to mix Normal Mode engaged RPs along with separate High Density Mode engaged RPs on the same system to allow for application-specific setup with ultimate adaptability.

IMPORTANT: Normal Mode is the default setting for CB2 devices. In order for proper use of Operational Modes, applicable devices need to be set using the same mode. Specifically, the BaseStation and Radio Packs need to be set appropriately. See System Configuration Menu for instructions on how to change the mode of devices.
